A few days ago I had the pleasure of a visit from two of the projects supporters -Isabel and her daughter Freya. They must have had trouble squeezing into the car because with them, they brought so many bags full of gorgeous, beautiful donations. Hundreds of things and all of them wonderful!

More gorgeous knits from the ladies at Otley knitting group. I just love the idea of diamond patterned patchworks and I think I am going to attempt to make one with some of the wonderful squares that have been donated recently.

A lovely red blanket, colourful jumpers and two cute dolls were sent in by our very regular donor Sue in Northampton.
Gorgeous hats, blankets jumpers and cardigans came from Jacqui in Swindon. My favourite is the bright orange one with contrasting green stitching.

As the pictures show, more wonderful baby clothes have been donated – Ginny from Oxfordshire sent in a whole bundle of pre-loved vests and baby
- which will be much appreciated by the mum’s she also sent a lovely hot pink jumper and three baby cardigans which are all lovely.
Susan sent in a gorgeous pastel blanket and a complete baby set which is so pretty in lilac and white, the crochet flower on the jumper is such a lovely touch!
Super stripey jumpers for little boys, cute baby hats and some mittens were donated by Pauline.

A regular donor in West Wittering sent in some beautiful crochet blankets that look so snuggly and warm, a gorgeous white crochet cardigan that is just so pretty and a bag full of colourful ‘magic’ gloves. These just made it in time to be included in the last shipment, so thank you for such speedy work!
Another supporter of the project sent in 3 lovely toddler sized hats and 3 fantastic sets of sanitary pads complete with drawstring bags, they are made from such pretty fabrics and will make the recipients a lot more comfortable. Thank you so much for your efforts, that slight curve in the centre gives the pads such a great shape!

The ’Nit and Natter ladies’ at Leander Court sent loads of lovely teddies, perfect purple hats and some beautiful cardigans and jumpers.
Four gorgeous crochet blankets were sent in by Jan in Guildford- Such great colours!
And another lady sent in a holdall with lots of different things inside, she had knitted hats,bootees, toys and a cardigan, she had made some packs of sanitary pads but she also included underwear, a shawl, a scarf, a bracelet making toy, a blanket and a few other things- what a thoughtful donation!

3 beautiful patchwork blankets arrived in the post the other day from Sue. Two of them are big enough to cover a single bed and the other one is cot size. They are so colourful and the children will just love them!

Yesterday I recieved so many parcels, it was such a treat to open them as they all contained such wonderful things!
There was a huge brightly coloured blanket and several beautiful crocheted hats from Barbara in Stevenage.
A lady called Kathy had sent 3 super baby cardigan and hat sets, they are so sweet with their tie fastenings are are made from lovely thick yarn.
The next parcel came from a lady who lives on the Isle of Man, she had sent several colourful jumpers in slightly bigger sizes which is always great, baby booties and some very cute hats.
The most beautiful baby blanket was sent in by a lady in Basildon. In a mixture of pretty pastels it is just so girlie and prettty. She also sent in two cardigans and two jumpers which are just as lovely.
Wonderful Hats, cardigans, scarves and squares in all colours and sizes were sent by Jan. Oh, and she also sent toys! Colourful jelly baby type people, an elf and two of the most adorable mice!
Another gorgeous girlie blanket was sent by a lady in Chichester. She also sent lovely toddler sized cardigans which are so pretty and some beautiful hats.

Today I received a parcel which had two absolutely beautiful baby blankets inside. Both made in pastel colours and both crocheted. This lady has donated frequently and everytime I get a parcel from her I am reminded how much I wish I could crochet, I think my new year’s resolution will be to finally learn!

Yesterday two parcels arrived from a lady in York. Inside were loads of crocheted squares, they are just so pretty and will make beautiful blankets. I wish I knew how to crochet!
