Winter Warmers

Winter will soon be here and with this in mind I have been busy knitting hats and mittens. I tried a few patterns for mittens but in the end decided to come up with my own. I have posted it on the ‘my free patterns’ page if anyone fancies having a go, if you spot any errors please let me know and I will amend asap.  

Now I just need to do a matching hat, I’m thinking one with a bobble on top would work well…..

  

 

More goodies

On Friday I received another package of wonderful donations. 

When this lady contacted me she said “I’m not the best knitter in the world” well, these girlie cardigans are just adorable especially the wrap around ones.   It was also lovely to get a complete blanket and the hats are really useful right now. Thank you so much.

For those of you who really are not very good at knitting your donations are still very much needed and appreciated.

My Aunt

 

My Aunt taught me to knit when I was about seven or eight so it was really lovely to get a suprise parcel of 3 baby cardigans and a little jumper from her.  My Aunt is a perfectionist, so as usual these little things are beautifully made; with even knitwork and perfect seams etc. Four little babies will be very warm and snug!
