A few weeks ago a lady contacted me asking if knitted scarves would be of any use to the project. Of course I said yes, all donations are gratefully received and are much needed.
Anyway, I didn’t think any more about it until I got a knock on the door and found the postman standing there with this HUGE box. I opened it to find loads and loads of scarves made from fluffy eyelash wool in all different colours. There was also a letter which said that the scarves were actually made by the lady’s grandma who is 86 and blind. What a generous donor and an inspiration to all.
