As many of you will know what with my Son being in hospital and everything, March has been a difficult month for me. I am glad to say that he has now made a full recovery from the operation and hopefully things will start to return to ‘normal’ around here. I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone for your kind messages, cards, thoughts and prayers, it has been so touching.
On the charity front March was a fantastic month for donations, 517 items were received in total so a huge thank you to everyone who contributed, as always your help is much appreciated.
So far items have been being sent over to Algeria every six weeks or so but as we are now getting so many more donations it will now work out cheaper to send in larger quantities but less frequently with this in mind the next shipment will be sent mid June- giving you plenty of time to get knitting!
Thanks so much for supporting the project, without your help it just wouldn’t happen.
