There are a few knitting groups which have supported the project either by sending a ‘one off’ parcel of donations or by making regular donations.
The Kirkaldy knit club sent a huge amount of donations in this week including squares, jumpers, hats, blankets and loads of washable sanitary pads. Everything is wonderful and each item has a pretty handcrafted tag attached.

And the wonderful ladies at the ‘Otley knitting group’ sent in more beautiful donations of hats, jumpers and blankets.
A huge thank you to all members of those two groups, your donations are greatly appreciated.

What a lovely range of donations, especially the blankets. I particularly love the navy and white check one as I think it is a wonderful way to use dark colours for children. Would the lady who made this one be willing to send me the pattern or perhaps put it on the website?
I would love to make it as I have lots of maroon wool which I think would look good with either white or cream. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the trouble to contact the group as I know you must be extra busy with so many donations. I do hope they will let you have the pattern as it will make a welcome change from the blankets with all the rounds and rounds of triangles that I have been doing so far.
