- Spring has sprung- just look at that blue sky!
- Last month was super busy and March is set to be even busier! Our latest book will be available very, very soon, we are ploughing ahead with our park build, planning for Ramadan and distributing beautiful items to those in need!
Lovely baby pack items!
- Judging by the fantastic donations received February must have been super busy for you too! Here are just a few of the beauties that arrived…
- An amazing selection of baby blankets in all colours of the rainbow…
Super brightly coloured sets…
Snuggly baby hats…
Fantastic colour block blankets….
Isn’t this just the prettiest headband? I am not sure how to make it but it would be a fantastic girly treat to add to our Eid gift bags this Summer!
Gourgeous things for the colder weather…
Fabulous squares…we are going to start making cushions for the elderly in hospital that are far from family. Most of the hospitals are based in Algiers so it is quite common for patients to be receiving treatment away from the areas in which they live. The cushions will have knitted/crochet squares to the front and fabric to the back. These squares are just perfect!
The most beautifully detailed blankets in perfect pastels…
Brilliant colouring books and crayons…
As always huge thanks for such generosity and for choosing to make a difference.
Lots to share in the next few weeks but until then I hope that you have a craft filled month full of the joys of Spring!
Thank you so much to all of you who have been sending beautiful blankets in! They will all make great additions to our baby packs and will be appreciated so much by our new mum’s to be. Huge thanks for the beautiful clothing too! Below are just a few pictures: a sample but, everything donated is very gratefully received.Thank you!
We have been very busy this last few weeks making preparations for our Winter appeal. As always, during the coldest months we will be giving blankets and warm clothing to those most in need. If you are in the UK and wish to donate clothing or other items we need to receive your donations by the end of November to ensure that they reach Algiers in time for when they are needed most. No donation is ever too small….a pair of gloves, a hat or a pair of socks makes the world of difference to someone who is cold with no way of getting warm.
Right now I am busy stitching squares together to make multi coloured wearable blankets! I hope you too have a fun, craft filled October planned!
