Today I received a package of lovely knitted squares from a lady in Aberdeen, so a big thank you to her!
Squares are so so useful at the moment. Quite a bit of time is spent matching squares up in terms of size and colour so it is wonderful to get two ‘sets’ of four squares, perfect corners for two blankets!
Remember, squares can be any colour, made from any yarn, any size and can be made using any stitch. Knitting a whole blanket can become very tedious but knitting a six inch square is much much more manageable and lots of squares add up to babies snuggled up in patchwork blankets!
